As usual we will start pick ups in mid-March. But this year I am adding a pick-up, maybe even 2 additional pick-ups. We will be keeping it at 8 weeks, and I will let you know the start date at the beginning of March.
The plan is to have the 2 hoophouses full of greens: kale, lettuce, arugula and more. In the field, we always have hearty mustards and delicate mache. The assortment of herbs and roots changes from year to year: we try for baby carrots, radishes, turnips and beets, cilantro, scallions, and more. But this CSA is most especially for folks craving GREENS to revive you at the end of the winter.
Because I plan to give you more pick ups and more variety, the price for a share in 2013 is $150.And here’s the special deal: you can pay the 2012 price if you join before 2013 starts. That’s $120 if you pay before January 1.
