Turns out we will have a CSA pick-up this week, so head out on this Wednesday from 4-7 to grab your share.
Please look for the schedule to sign up for a work-shift for next week, put in some hours and help Catherine and Matt out in the fields.

This week’s schedule is similar to last weeks, though no late evenings this week.
Catherine and Matt will be out in Johnston most of the time, from about 10 – 5/6ish.
Let them know if there is some time during the week you can make it.
(Catherine says its always a good idea to call her on fridays to check that she’s there)
Wednesday Morning: CSA harvest help! Starting at 9
Wednesday Afternoon: CSA set up – around 3.
Fridays: Mowing, other clean-up/maintenance.

The week of July 6th will be another week of late evenings. IF you can do afterwork hours any weekday, let us know.

We want to find ways for everyone to make it out to the farm to put in their work share hours, whether you work full time, part-time, etc.
So, this week Catherine and Matt are welcoming help after-work hours: whether you want to come 4-6, 5-7, 6-8 – let them know and they can be sure to be out there. The evening hours are a nice respite from the midday heat, and it stays light til late these days.
This late work time will be an option every other week, starting this week.
So, email marsfarmer@yahoo.com is you can make it any of these times this week to work hours in Johnson:

Tomorrow I will try to get to the garden on Bowdoin St. but it’s no longer a good day to meet up with volunteers. Matt went to Connecticut (with the cellphone) and Opal is sick. Plus I’m going to harvest some more greens in Johnston for Chez Pascal. So I hopehopehope that people will commit themselves to some hours this week:

Harvesting anytime between 9 and 1, working with Matt on anything else in the afternoon.
